TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The following Terms and Conditions apply to your stay at Oasis Newman.

GENERAL

Terms & Conditions below are for bookings made directly via the Oasis Website, and via online booking portals

EARLY CHECK-OUT

The property reserves the right to charge an early departure fee in the event a guest departs earlier than the original departure date.

LATE CHECK-OUT

Late checkouts are available upon request. Please contact Reception to check availability. Additional fees may be applied. A late check-out fee may apply if the property is not vacated prior to the set check-out time of the property.

NO PARTY POLICY

Oasis has a strict no party policy. In the event that any apartment/guest is identified as having a party, Oasis reserves the right to immediately request all occupants of the apartment up to, and including, the guest who has registered for the apartment to vacate the premises. In the event that an eviction does occur, the accommodation is non-refundable. In addition, the registered guests will be required to settle the account prior to departure for any expense resulting from additional cleaning of the apartment, replacement of any furniture/fixture/fitting breakage, as well as for any required repairs.

IDENTIFICATION

Upon arrival at your selected property Guests must provide valid Federal or State Government issued photographic identification for security purposes. The booking must be under the name of the person checking in. In addition, the Guest must also provide a credit card in the name of the photographic ID.

DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

Damage caused to property by guests and visitors of guests to Oasis Newman may have their credit card charged to the amount required to rectify or replace damaged items or property. The charges will not be limited to the item itself and may also incur the additional costs for labour and transport.

THEFT OF PROPERTY

Theft/removal of Oasis property by guests and visitors of guests to Oasis Newman may have their credit card charged to the amount required to rectify or replace stolen items or property. The charges will not be limited to the item itself and may also incur the additional costs for labour and transport.

These include, but are not limited to furniture, decor, bedding, equipment, food & beverages and any other items from rooms and/or facilities belonging to Oasis Newman

CHILD POLICY

Children sleep free on existing bedding, within the maximum allowed guests per room. If a roll away / cot/sofa bed is required charges will apply.

FEES

All credit / debit card payments made to Oasis Newman via an onsite payment system will incur a 1.5% non-refundable credit card service fee in Australia for MasterCard and Visa and a 3.025% service fee for Amex.

FACILITIES

Photos shown on the website are indicative only and may not specifically represent the exact room allocated to you. Facility images featured on the Oasis Newman website may not represent the views offered from our locations. Accommodation facilities listed may not apply to all room types.

NO-SHOWS / CANCELLATIONS / AMENDMENTS

Each rate booked at Oasis Newman is subject to a Cancellation Policy. Failure to check in on the reserved arrival date will incur a penalty charge as detailed in the Cancellation Policy of the particular type of rate booked. We reserve the right to cancel or modify reservations where it appears that a customer has engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity or under other circumstances where it appears that the reservations contain or resulted from a mistake or error. We reserve the right to cancel or amend bookings if they do not adhere to our terms & conditions. If a guest chooses to shorten their stay or check out early a penalty charge will apply, as detailed in the Cancellation Policy associated with the rate booked.

PRICING ERRORS

Oasis Newman reserve the right to cancel contracts based upon incorrect information being displayed in relation to price, inclusions or service at any point in time.

1. AMENDMENTS

i. All amendments are subject to the availability and applicable pricing at the time the amendment is requested.

ii. Amendments for Standard Bookings may be requested within the following time frames:up to 48 hours prior to your scheduled check-in time.

iii. Amendments for Peak Season Bookings may only be requested up to 30 days prior to your scheduled check-in time.

As this facility is located with a busy mining precinct, shutdown periods will also be considered Peak Season.

iv. Amendments to Non-refundable Bookings are not permitted.

v. Amendments to may be requested by emailing admin@oasisnewman.com.au or by calling 61 08 9328 0011

vi. Other than for Non-refundable Booking, , the following charges will apply to amendments requested and approved:

– Up to 10 days prior to your scheduled check-in time: no amendment fee will apply.

– Within 10 days of your scheduled check-in time: a $50.00 amendment fee will apply.

vii. If the rate which applies to an amended booking is greater than the rate which applied to the original booking, you must pay the difference along with any amendment fee in full at the time the amendment is approved.

2. CANCELLATION

i. or Standard Bookings, if you cancel your booking the following charges will apply in relation to each booking:

Up to 10 days prior to your scheduled check-in time: No cancelation fee will be applied and any deposit you have paid for your booking will be returned.

Within 10 days but up to 48 hours of your scheduled check-in time: a $50 cancellation fee will be deducted from any monies which you have already paid.

Within 48 hours of your scheduled check-in time: a 100% cancellation fee will apply and you will be required to pay to Oasis Newman the full amount of your booking less any amount which you have already paid.

ii. For Corporate Bookings, if you cancel your booking the following charges will apply in relation to each booking:

Up to 10 days prior to your scheduled check-in time: No cancelation fee will be applied and any deposit you have paid for your booking will be turned.

Within 10 days but up to 24 hours of your scheduled check-in time: a $50 cancellation fee will be deducted from any monies which you have already paid.

Within 24 hours of your scheduled check-in time: a 100% cancellation fee will apply and you will be required to pay to Oasis Newman the full amount of your booking less any amount which you have already paid.

iii. For Peak Season Bookings at any Participating Property, if you cancel your booking the following charges will apply in relation to each room you have booked:

Up to 30 days prior to your scheduled check-in time: No cancelation fee will be applied and any deposit you have paid for your booking will be returned.

– Within 30 days of your scheduled check-in time: a 100% cancellation fee will apply and you will be required to pay to Oasis Newman the full amount of your booking fee less any amount which you have already paid.

iv. For Non-refundable Bookings, if you cancel your booking at any time after it is made no refund of the funds paid for your booking will be made.

v. Any cancellation fees payable by you will be deducted from any monies paid by you to Oasis Newman and if insufficient funds are available, Oasis Newman may charge, and you authorise Oasis Newman to charge, the credit card the details of which you provided at the time of making your booking.

vi. Where applicable the balance of any monies paid by you after any applicable cancellation fee has been deducted will be held by Oasis Newman as Booking Credit which may be applied to any future bookings you make with Oasis Newman.

3. NO-SHOWS OR TERMINATIONS

If you do not show up for your booking or terminate your booking early after you have checked in you will be charged a 100% cancellation fee and will be required to pay to Oasis Newman the full amount of your booking less any amount which you have already paid.

Oasis @ Newman Code of Conduct

Welcome to Oasis @ Newman. Our aim is to provide a safe and comfortable environment for all of our guests. To help us with this, we require all guests to abide by all Oasis rules and any requirements that are posted throughout the facility or as directed by members of staff.

Any person in breach of these rules may result in being asked to vacate the premises and may be restricted from the property in the future.

Across the Property:

  • All guests and visitors are to make themselves known to Reception on entering the property. If required by staff, you may also be required to provide your name, room number and provide ID to confirm this.
  • Being in the Pilbara, wildlife is abundant. Wearing appropriate covered footwear is encouraged and please stick to the footpaths
  • CCTV Surveillance is in operation throughout the facility.
  • Driving on site is limited to the designated roads and parking areas. Speed limits must be adhered to.
  • Pets are not permitted on the property (except for service animals).
  • Any illegal activity or misconduct will not be tolerated and will be reported to police. Activities including but not limited to:
    • Intoxication
    • Fighting
    • Possession of weapons
    • Possession of illicit drugs
    • Damage and misuse of property
    • Disrespectful behaviour
  • Any hazards or maintenance issues are to be reported to Reception as soon as possible. You can also text through on 0477 003 968.

In Room:

  • Open flames (including candles and cook tops) are not permitted
  • Smoking is not permitted inside rooms. A cleaning fee will be applied if rooms are suspected of being smoke affected
  • Please turn off lights and air conditioning when leaving your room for long periods
  • Do not remove chairs from your room. Outdoor chairs are provided at every room for your convenience
  • Quiet Time – For the consideration of other guests, please keep noise to a minimum after 9:00pm and before 7:00am.
  • Tampering with smoke detectors or other Oasis property is not permitted.

Dining Room:

  • Hand washing stations are located outside of the dining room entrance. Guests and visitors are encouraged to use these before entering
  • Hot food must be consumed within the dining and alfresco areas. It may not be taken back to your room.
  • High vis and work wear (including work boots) are not permitted in the dining room after 6:00pm and after 6:00am.
  • Visitors who have purchased dinner or breakfast without accommodation, must present a token to the chefs on arrival into the dining room.

Facilities:

  • Smoking is not permitted inside or within 5m of any buildings or covered entrance ways
  • Damage or misuse of Oasis property will result in fees and potential restriction
  • Work boots clothes and boots are not permitted in the gym

Bar:

  • Alcohol is allowed to be purchased for dine-in or takeaway from our licensed bar
  • Guests must adhere to any of their employer company’s policies whilst staying at Oasis

Other:

  • Guests are not to change rooms with other guests without prior permission from Oasis staff
  • Lost or missing keys are to be reported as soon as possible. Keys not returned on departure will incur a fee
  • Personal property is the responsibility of the guest. Oasis accepts no responsibility for theft, loss or damage to any personal property.
  • Unless advised, lost property will be stored at site for 1 month before being disposed of.
  • Rooms may be cleaned and inspected by Oasis staff during a guests stay. Rooms are to be kept in a tidy manner to allow for cleaning
  • Guests on Night Shift must display a “Night Shift” magnet on their door throughout their stay and remove it once they have swapped shift or departed
